Xact Production Officially Ink Deal October of 2010 with Momentum Music for a Full Service Consulting, PR, Radio Campaign, Publishing and Artist Booking Push.

Xact Production is a media company created to accelerate the exposure of art through diverse human interaction.

Xact Production (Xact Production Inc.) is an American multimedia company built around music, video, and apparel. The company was founded by Producer, Edward Peifer in early 2008. Later that same year, Peifer met Phillip Fraser (Common Element Productions) and aimed the company at finding new ways to help artists attain/maintain successful careers.

Beginning in Hip-Hop music, Xact would later branch out into the Rock, Electronica and R&B genres. The common thread was that each artist was the TRUE total package. From the studio to the stage to the screen, each of their choices would be top-notch entertainers. To fill out their assembly of services, they brought Ben Stidham (Momentum Music) in to work with the company in an A&R capacity. Stidham is also tasked with garnering licensing opportunities for Xact’s stable of talent. Each person Peifer works with has one thing in common, “They are talented, hard working and dedicated. What I really admire is that every one of us knows…we can’t do it alone. We work together to help each other – to advance the group.”

They began by developing their first project – Black Market Corp. With the aid of industry legends such as the late Engineer Bill Dooley (Paramount Mastering), Black Market Corp’s Dope on Plastic became Xact’s first release. The Hip-Hop collective’s single “That Feeling,” was aired on American Airlines Sky-Radio in December 2009 / January 2010, starting them on their way to success. Successful National and College Radio campaigns followed.

In March of 2009, Xact signed their first exclusive artist - The Models Pilots. These Electro, Retro, Rock-n-Roll brothers brought considerable musical and song writing talent to the table. Their first LP- Action – sees Casey Sullivan and Michael Sullivan Jr.’s talents grow with the direction of Edward Peifer and Conrad Bauer producing the record. The Sullivan brothers signed to Xact production and soon became part of a team to assist Peifer in completing the grueling production schedule accompanying their growing roster.

Xact signed Bruna Sotriffer, an Italian national, in the Fall of 2009, resulting in Xact’s dissemination into the Electronica/Trip-Hop genres.

With 4 acts in development, production began on all the new artists during the summer of 2009 and continued into 2010.

New records currently in the works are those of Rachel Sierra (“A rare vocal talent… one of the best female singers I’ve heard”) and The Model Pilots. “Those records are driving where I am going with sound and what I can do as a producer,” says Peifer.

Production also began recently for Xact’s first animated short: “The Resort”. Their work on cutting edge new material in all areas is leading the charge into the future of music and media.

Young Maestro and Label, West Coast Knockin’ Records have teamed up with the Legendary Russ Regan and Momentum Music for an all media push garnering attention for Young Maestro’s outstanding and mainstream new single MAKE IT ROCK! Young Maestro is an extremely talented and budding new artist out of Los Angeles California. At only 20 years old, this young man has mastered the art of Producing incredibly hooky and powerful songs as well as garnering the attention of many industry executives with his unwavering flow as a Hip/Hop artist and showman. MAKE IT ROCK came out to the mainstream with Rave reviews and has been getting steady rotation in major radio markets across the country since its release earlier this year. Be on the lookout and have your ears open for follow up singles in the coming months and an album to be released later on this year!

Russ Regan is renowned in the music industry for his 40+ years of experience in the business and is regarded as “The Man with the Golden Ear.”Russ Regan Served as president of both UNI Records and 20^th Century Records and has promoted such artists as Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, The Supremes and Smokey Robinson. During his tenure at UNI, 20^th Century and Polygram Records, Russ has been a part of developing and bringing some of the world’s most renowned recording artists to the mainstream such as Elton John, Barry White, Neil Diamond and Olivia Newton John. The Records that Russ Regan has been involved with in his career have racked up over a billion record sales worldwide. This is sure to be a legendary partnership!!

Who is Mike Yoshida?

A marimba player born in Kumamoto Japan, began to study the piano at the age of three, drums at the age of ten and marimba at the age of eighteen. Mika Yoshida has studied at Kumamoto Music College and also at Toronto University under Russell Hertenberger (NEXUS). Mika has devoted herself to marimba performance and musical studies since 1994 which lead her to playing solo recitals world-wide. Along this musical journey, Mika has performed in many countries such as the U.S., Hungary, Canada, Germany, and Japan.
